Dis-Solving Conflict from Within in Copenhagen

September 1, 2016 @ 8:00 am - September 2, 2016 @ 5:00 pm

Do you find yourself reacting to conflict with fear, resentment or anger? Are you willing to do anything (even if it dishonors yourself) to avoid conflict? Do the same conflict patterns repeat over and over in your life?

Would you like to learn a simple tool, which will allow you to respond to conflict (instead of reacting to it) with clarity, peace and compassion?

If you’ve answered “yes” to any of these questions, Dis-Solving Conflict from Within, a simple 4-step tool for inquiry into our direct experience of conflict, might be for you.

Dis-Solving Conflict from Within is not an easy fix or a tool for manipulating others in conflict. It is however, a 4-step process for shifting our focus in conflict situations from the outside factors and triggers we cannot control, to our own stories (and our attachments to them); our unique experience of the present moment; and to the physical sensations which arise in us. It is these factors that are at the source of our suffering in conflict. By fully embracing and experiencing each of them while detaching them from the story we tell ourselves (and others) about the conflict situation we are able to dis-solve conflict at its source – within each and every one of us.

If you would like to experience this simple 4-step process, you have the opportunity to learn it from Dis-Solving Conflict from Within co-creators, Annette Birkmann and Henry Yampolsky, while also exploring one of Europe’s most vibrant cities.

Join Annette and Henry on September 1-2 in Copenhagen, Denmark in a two-day Dis-Solving Conflict from Within Seminar, featuring:

• Interactive discussions of sources of conflict and of the causes of our suffering in conflict situations;
• In-depth overview of each of the steps of Dis-Solving Conflict from Within process;
• One-on-one conflict coaching, utilizing the Dis-Solving Conflict from Within method;
• Practice of each of the 4 steps of the Dis-Solving Conflict from Within process; and
• Real tools for applying Dis-Solving Conflict from Within to every day conflict situations, without a need for a coach or a facilitator.

This seminar will be held at the KGI Educational Center in the Center of Copenhagen, just 15 minutes by metro from the Copenhagen International Airport.

Copenhagen is a vibrant European city, featuring world-class restaurants, museums, open spaces and architecture. Steeped in rich history of the Vikings, Copenhagen is also decidedly modern, having been repeatedly recognized as one of the world’s most environmentally conscious and happiest cities. Several air carriers such as Norwegian, Icelandair, SAS and Lufthansa are offering very attractively priced airfare to Copenhagen from North America. Copenhagen is also easily accessible by train, plane and automobile from most locations in Europe.

The cost of the seminar is $450 (2.900 DKK incl. VAT) per person. All participants will be responsible for their own accommodations and daily lunch arrangements (light snacks will be provided during the seminar). The seminar will start each day promptly at 9:00 am and will conclude at 5:00 pm. Attendance is limited to 12 participants. Registration deadline is August 1, 2016.
