Henry Yampolsky, J.D. is the co-founder, president, and CEO of Living Peace Institute. Trained as a lawyer, Henry is a peace educator, mediator, conflict coach, and social entrepreneur. He is passionate about empowering people to have transformative conversations and brings compassionate, intuitive, and mindful demeanor to his work.
Henry is a sought-after trainer, speaker, and author. He has trained members of the New York Police Department, senior U.N. diplomats, and top executives around the world. He has presented talks, workshops, and trainings on conflict resolution, mediation, change management, leadership, restorative justice, compassionate communications, empowerment, and mindfulness throughout the United States and in Canada, Switzerland, and India. In April of 2016, Henry was one of the featured speakers at the Fifth Annual Freedom Seder Revisited held at the National Museum of American Jewish History (a Smithsonian Institution). For two years in a row, Henry spoke and taught at the Sattva Summit, a unique consciousness gathering in Rishikesh, India, featuring some of the world’s top teachers, scholars, and thought leaders.
Henry is also a master-level Sattva Yoga teacher, trained in Rishikesh, India. He frequently teaches yoga and leads yoga and meditation workshops and retreats. Henry incorporates the deep wisdom of yoga in his conflict resolution, coaching, training, and consulting practice.
Prior to co-founding the Living Peace Institute, Henry was a partner with one of the leading litigation boutique law firms in Philadelphia and has been repeatedly recognized as one of the top lawyers in Pennsylvania.
Henry has earned his Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from Temple University and his Bachelor’s from the University of Scranton. Having been born in Kiev, Ukraine, Henry is fluent in Russian and Ukrainian.
Henry is a passionate adventure motorcyclist and has crossed the Himalayas on a single cylinder Royal Enfield motorcycle.
